Sunday Mornings - Christmas Program Practice

Children Pre K–6th grade released during sermon time. Christmas Program will be Sunday Dec 8th along with a youth fundraiser meal.

 

Ministry Opportunity – Funeral Meal Director

Since 2006, Dorothy Voge has faithfully led the preparation and serving of funeral meals in our church.  Her departure leaves a leadership vacuum in this important ministry.  Will you pray and consider leading this ministry?

 

Nov 24 - Fall In Gathering Offering & Meal

Fall In-Gathering is a special harvest offering (over and above our weekly tithing) we do annually on the Sunday before Thanksgiving.  This money is directed toward a unique capital improvement project.  Following the church service will be a potluck meal. Bread and milk will be furnished.

 

This year’s offering will go toward the purchase of a new copier.  Our current copier is working well, but replacement parts are no longer available.  Therefore, when (not if) one of these parts fails, our copier will need immediate replacement.  It is twice as cost effective to purchase a copier outright than to lease.  The price of a new copier is roughly $7,000.  We would like to have this money set aside and ready.  Any money raised over the $7,000 will be applied toward a future purchase of a lawn mower (another $8,000-$10,000).

 

Nov 26 at 10:00am – Caregiver/Grief Support Group

Informal share and care time, coffee will be hot and tasty.

This group will meet the last Tuesday of each month.
